April 1985: Xerox announces the Xerox 1025 copier.
The Xerox 1025 was a small desktop copier, that could make copies as large as 11" x 17" with a fixed platen. It was available in 16 possible combinations, and could make up to 21 copies a minute.
The 10 series represented a new generation of copiers. This became the most successful line of copiers in Xerox history and served to restore the company's finances and morale. The flagship Xerox 1075 became the first American-made product to win Japan's Grand Prize for Good Design. Altogether, 14 models were introduced between 1982 and 1986, six of which were still sold in 1990.

hola .tengo una guardda hace muchos años. me gustaria revivirla ..algun dato de servicio tecnico en chile y repuestos.
is there a Museum where I can donate my old 1025 copier. Needs servicing but otherwise complete with extra toner
A great copier. Was my first copier when I was hired in late 1988. I was told the 1025/1038, or maybe the 10 series itself was a stop gap until the 50 series came out.
by the end of its life It had numerous retrofits to keep it going. I even had an account that over a million copes on it. I was there often due to the extreme high volume per month! I was so happy when they upgraded to a more suitable machine.
Great machine. More robust than the 50 series that followed, but of course the cartridge system had to take over.
Sold many of these to customers, especially stripped down versions for distribution throughout hospitals and schools.
Code name “Binky” I believe
Maybe flip the picture at the top, its backwards.
Thanks for noticing. I will replace the picture with a correct one.
The image is now replaced with a image that’s not mirrored/flipped.
That looks more like it. I did plenty of calls on those back in the early 90s.
