"The Xerox 9600 is only available as Xerox reconditioned equipment. Xerox reconditioned equipment has been inspected, repaired as necessary with serviceable new or used parts, and operationally tested to ensure that it is in good working order."

Wow. I’ve never heard of this before. It must have been introduced after 1988, and must have consisted of 9400’s converted to 9500’s (fuser and developer changes to get the matte finish copy quality), much like the 9210 was refurbished 9200s converted to the new components.

Previous models were the 9200, 9400, 9400VR(variable reduction), 9500. I used all of these machines in Canada in the early 80’s.

I also use all of these (including the 9800) while working at City of Los Angeles Printing Division.

Used one of these when I worked for a large international corporation in the late 70s early 80s. Sent printed matter to our offices all over the world. 😞😞 look up a town in India named Bophal,,,,,,,😞😟
